    Good location--staff is helpful and courteous. I'll be honest, I am more of a Pret-A-Manger fan (soup is better and price points) Hale overshadows Pret because the selection is much more vast. I just believe Hale is overpriced for what you get. The basic 8-10 options are the same price--they also have a select few that are about $1.50 more.

    In short, if you're in the Midtown area, shopping at Macy's, and get the urge for a quick meal, and looking for a place with about 10-15 different soup options, this is your place.

    FYI-- A few good recommendations are the Beef Barley, Tomato Basil and Rice and Macaroni and Cheese with beef.

    I stopped here for a quick lunch with my in-laws because I knew it would not disappoint. With such a wide selection of great soups it's hard to go wrong. Vegan and meat lover options are plentiful. Often go with the rare but delicious Senegalese chicken when you can find it. Sandwiches are fresh and delicious too although the salads can be sneaky expensive once you factor in all your ingredients so watch out.

    Big fan of all of the soup options at Hale and Hearty. My usuals are the cream of tomato soup with orzo and the chicken pot pie soup. Definitely more on the heartier side but these soups will fill you right up! I've ordered through Seamless a number of times and I like how quick they are - makes sense though because there technically shouldn't be any cooking time since the dishes are already made! When I'm ordering there, the people working there are very friendly as well!

    First time ordering but won't be the last I ordered a chicken pot pie soup with a half chicken and bacon jam sandwich the order  arrived within 20 minutes and the soup was still hot the soup wasn't a big portion but between the sandwich and soup it did hold me over for a few hours the soup was rich and creamy full on vegetables the bacon jam on the sandwich made it my favorite tender flavorful chicken with every bite but that jam packed amazing sweet and salty flavor
